340B Health has an immediate opening for a Director of Membership Technology Solutions at our growing non-profit health care trade association. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
As the successful candidate for this position, you will be a key part of the Information Technology department and will be responsible for the organization’s Association Management System (AMS), iMIS 20, and related systems such as engagement, email, social media, and advocacy. You will play a major role in helping the organization to identify, implement, integrate, and administer all membership software to help create efficient and effective processes and make informed business decisions. You will be an effective liaison between all levels of staff and their technology needs, as well as a liaison with third-party vendors supporting our software.
Ensure integrity, accuracy and completeness of AMS data and reports
Stay up to date on AMS best practices and ensure company is utilizing its AMS effectively
Ensure deliverables associated within AMS/membership software are provided with agreed upon timeframes
Ensure AMS is kept current and work with membership to ensure dues are collected on time
Work with internal staff to create reports and dashboards and support organizational goals
Work with internal staff to develop and improve use of AMS database for membership surveys, queries, and other tasks involving outreach to segments of membership
Manage PCI and security compliance
Administer, optimize and maintain the iMIS 20 database and iMIS RiSE CMS
Create annual invoice templates and generate annual invoices and other bills
Import data files from outside sources
Configure iMIS modules
Configure iMIS RiSE and related webpages and event registrations
Lead the data quality team and identify and implement processes and initiatives to improve the quality of the data
Develop reports/queries/dashboard using Microsoft SSRS/SQL and iMIS RiSE
Implement and maintain database connections to third-party software via API
Prepare data for annual audit and other reporting needs
Serve as the liaison between staff and iMIS reseller, and other third-party software vendors and ensure that all requests are handled in a timely manner
Implement, optimize, and maintain third-party database modules, software and database solutions
Train staff on the use of all software solutions including iMIS, Higher Logic Communities, informz, Nucleus, OpenWater, EnSync, Definitive Healthcare, Data Impact Solutions’ Mosaic mobile app, SurveyMonkey, and others, to assure tools are supporting operating efficiency
Conduct IT project management including identifying software needs, RFP management, vendor selection, implementation, and end-user support
Establish best practices, document policies, and create training documents
Effectively coordinate projects and training with the IT department
Provide technical assistance to both staff and members
Provide on-site registration management and support at our two annual conferences
Other duties as assigned
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technology-related field
5-7 years of experience managing iMIS database system or similar association management systems
PCI and software security experience preferred
Firm knowledge of AMS modules and application for association management and its departments such as membership, events, and finance
Expertise in SQL, including creating SQL queries, SQL views, and stored procedures
Experience creating SSRS reports
Demonstrated ability leading technology implementation projects from planning to execution, including discovery, RFP management and vendor search, relationship management, and end-user support
Proven ability to set and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders
Ability to effectively communicate technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to gather business requirements from multiple stakeholders
Ability to train staff
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
Work experience in a non-profit association preferred
Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, Office 365 and Windows desktop operating system environments
Limited travel required but must help staff our annual national conference in California.
