Position: Pediatric Pharmacy Manager Rainbow Babies and Children's
UH Facility: Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital
Shift: Rotating Day/Evening
Work Days of Week: M-F
The Pharmacist Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directly supervising pharmacy personnel in the safe, effective, and cost-effective acquisition and use of drugs within Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. The oversight encompasses all operational areas of pediatric pharmacy practice including, but not limited to, the unit dose and IV admixture systems, and the associated specialty areas

Ensure safe medication practices

Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience with emphasis on computerized unit dose, sterile products preparation, and clinical practice systems. Completion of an ASHP accredited hospital pharmacy residency or a graduate degree (i.e., MSc, MBA) or prior supervisory experience preferred. Hospital experience shall include clinical rotations, internships and residencies.
