Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a busy, established practice at FPN Woodland Health Center located in Michigan City, Indiana. Interested candidate will be joining a large group that combines primary and specialty physician offices.

Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience; EUS preferred but not required, a strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

• Schedule: Four Day Work Week
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; 36 hours of patient contact
  • Daily Schedule: ½ day in clinic, ½ day in surgery 
• Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call: 1:4
  • One full week call coverage with no office commitment  while on call
• Office support staff of four RN’s, two MA’s and two APP’s
• Single Hospital Coverage
  • Close proximity to office and surgery center
• Fully equipped surgery center adjacent to office
• Average patient volumes:
  • Approx. 10 – 12 in office/ half day
  • Approx. 7 – 9 procedures in surgery center on half day
