Provides all general office management functions including but limited to filling, copying, faxing, reception, drafting correspondence as Directed by the Executive Assistant to the CEO/Board of Directors.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year post-high-school secretarial and computer training required.
SKILLS:. Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (E-mail, Scheduler, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) at intermediate to advanced level. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction; highly effective organizational skills, decision making and problem solving; effective communication and excellent customer relations skills; competence in secretarial, word processing, phone etiquette, spelling and grammar. Ability to read and write in English required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. .
EXPERIENCE: Five years administrative/office experience required. (With two years experience substituted for post-high-school training, four years administrative/office experience required.) Combination of education plus experience must equal at least six years. Previous experience in a hospital/health care setting preferred.

Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. VDT exposure. Working hours are varied and are frequently longer than an 8-hour shift. Flexibility in starting and ending times is required due to unexpected changes in schedule and urgent work deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer terminal, using sound ergonomic principles. Extensive use of hands for writing and use of computer. Additionally, duties require ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop and reach. Moderate physical effort (able to lift/carry up to 20lbs.)
