Provides active support to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager in the operation of the VITALine warehouse and inventory systems; interfaces with inventory
support staff at off-site locations; receives and ships merchandise; performs diversified clerical, data entry, and related receiving activities; assures accurate and
timely documentation and information processing. Manages pump equipment inventory including tracking, scheduling maintenance, returns of defective equipment,
monitoring availability, securing rental equipment, cleaning and calibration checks of returned equipment. Participates in personnel training to assure compliance
with policies and procedures and adherence to safety and security guidelines.
Works under and reports directly to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrated good mathematics skills, and basic computer/keyboard skills.
Demonstrated good organizational skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to work well under pressure are desirable characteristics.
Demonstrated the ability to operate a skid jack.
Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical names preferred.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in a warehouse environment. This position requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, push, and pull inventory, using a rolling cart, hand
truck, or skid jack; a current Pennsylvania state driver's license for occasional driving.
Potential exposure to hazardous materials.
