Summary:

This position serves as the primary receptionist for the CHRISTUS Women's Health Center and Southwest Louisiana Imaging Center. The position is responsible for patient coordination between the two businesses and expedites the patient's access through admissions. The assistant tracks arrivals and no shows.Follow-up by phone is performed for a re-schedule of service.The position is responsible for managing image record checkout to the patient if needed, managing the checkout authorization. This position rounds the patient waiting areas addressing customer waits and other concerns. The position should have knowledge of insurance coding and authorization process for Women's Health Services, CAT Scan, MRI, and X-Ray.

Requirements:

High School Education

Equivalent work experience

 Medical Office Training

Applications and PC operations (As need arises, will Participate in computer training classes as offered)
