Responsible for greeting patients in warm friendly tone to allow families to feel welcomed at clinic during their visit. Registration and interviewing of patients to obtain accurate demographic and financial information. Computer entry of new/updated patient demographic information. Answers phones. Prepare medical records for clinic visits by compiling information from various sources. Tracks dictation to ensure notes are received for all patient visits. Collects co-pay amounts and balances due for services rendered. Distributes financial assistance packets and provides basic guidance to patients. Refers complex or non-compliant patient financial issues to Financial Specialist or Site Manager.
