Demonstrates understanding of medical terminology, billing and coding procedures to analyze and resolve patient financial accounts. Collaborates with clinical and ancillary departments in completing daily and monthly reports. Assists the Director of Revenue Analysis (DRA) and CFO with month-end accrual process. Maintains and implements system tables or PFS system upgrades or changes.
Required minimum of High School or GED Certificate
Prefer Associate or Bachelor Degree.
Five (5) years hospital business office experience. Previous financial reporting and analysis experience. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Showcase or other report writing software;
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: CPAM or Coding credentials
