Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Supervisor Patient Access at Morristown Medical Center for the Patient Access operation during evening/night shifts over several Atlantic Health System sites.
The Supervisor of Patient Access will oversee Lead, Patient Access Representative and a team of Registrars who:
Who provide immediate access for patients into Atlantic Health
Establish medical record numbers via proper search methods
Verify insurance eligibility and accurately entering all patient demographic information and insurance information into the electronic medical record
Who complete and process required patient documentation, provide patients and their representatives with information required by federal, state and Joint Commission standards such as Patient Bill of Rights, HIPPA Notice of Privacy, IMM letters
Who contribute to the maintenance of important data integrity with the AHS and serve as the entry point for the revenue cycle
Education / Requirements:
2+ years supervisory experience preferred
Medical terminology highly preferred
Top tier coommunication, customer service and teamwok skills preferred
Registration experience preferred
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment that includes multiple physical locations within the unit
Able to perform patient relocation duties and operate equipment of over 25lbs on a regular basis
