Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for Diabetes and Endocrinology Center - This role will be based in Morristown, with rare travel to Hackettstown
The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions: i.e., managing patient flow.
Certfied Medical Assistant will also be rooming patients, vital signs, patient intake, register & schedule patients in a practice management system.
The CMA will assist with authorizations/pre-cert, procedure scheduling, scanning, and other front desk administrative duties.
High School Diploma required
Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, NCCT, AMT or NHA required
Ability work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
EMR experience preferred
Able to travel to other sites if necessary
