Overview

Manages Technical Products (application systems) and related projects driven by business sponsors to ensure that they operate effectively to fully support the business needs of one or more business units/divisions of the Joint Commission Enterprise (The Joint Commission, Joint Commission Resources, Joint Commission International, and Center for Transforming Healthcare referred to as "Enterprise"). Builds collaborative relationships with business sponsors and users at the Joint Commission Enterprise. Facilitates activities involving other IT functional groups. Performs administrative and supervisory activities such as employee selection, employee performance reviews, coaching staff, etc.

Qualifications

• The level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems. Master's degree in Computer related discipline or Business preferred.
• Seven to ten years of experience leading the design, development and implementation of computer information systems in Microsoft environment.
• Three to five years of experience leading the support and operations of computer information systems in Microsoft environment.
• Three to five years of experience of leading distributed teams of Scrum Masters, Business Systems Analysts and Software Engineer, internal and external - onsite and offshore.
• Managerial ability to interact with a wide range of individuals both within and outside the company.
• Job is characterized by managerial (e.g., large application group) or technical complexity (e.g., distributed processing environment and complex configurations).
