Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) Lab is responsible for the daily customer service functions of Laboratories Northwest. He/she is responsible for telephone and report communications with clients, specimen transportation and accessioning systems data management, providing prices, placing lab orders and correcting various report and billing errors. This position works in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Representatives, Couriers, Technical and Clerical staff to maintain high customer service standards. This is a technical position working under limited supervision. Work situations are regular, reoccurring duties and functions which require a customer service-oriented individual, technical skills, and attention to detail. Internal contacts are primarily within the work group but also include laboratory staff and other health care providers. This position has extensive external contacts with patients, families, physicians and physician office staff. The main focus of this position is working with clients as opposed to direct patient contact.
Minimum Requirements: Two (2) years experience in laboratory setting required, four (4) years preferred One (1) year customer service experience required
