The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for office administrative and data support for the Acute Care Services. This position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and to follow through on project assignments. It includes maintaining records, coordinating, and facilitating daily department operations, and clear communication to all hospital contacts and the community.
Essential Job Outcomes
Collaborates with all levels of leadership as well as RN, Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists to support the overall administrative department needs for Acute Care Services.
Assists in composing correspondence, designing reports, forms, and keeping minute records for various routine and ad hoc meetings to support timely follow-up and clear concise communication.
Supports implementation of initiatives that reinforce quality and performance improvement (i.e. publishing content on department intranet site, updating visibility boards, inventory management, etc.) to ensure consistent and clear communication is maintained throughout acute care services.
Performs data functions, including accurate data collection and timely submission for acute care services.
