These include pre-employment processing, drug testing, respirator fit testing, color blindness screening, record review, in addition to performing administrative functions such as documenting in an electronic health record, record management, filing, report generation, spreadsheets and graphs. Responsible for managing phone volume and walk-in office traffic while providing excellent customer service and representing the Occupational Health department. May involve travel or remote support for geographical team. Follows the direction of the RN Occupational Health Coordinator in performing various OH functions. Will be tasked with other assignments to meet the demands/expectations of the organization. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required* Two years of business college or other comparable secretarial training, preferred. * 4 years or greater of advanced secretarial, or 1 year or greater of Business Support/ clinical office management experience or medical assisting/nurse's aide experience in a clinic setting* Ability to speak, read and write the English language* Must have advanced word-processing skills, excel, spreadsheets, graphs, power point or similar software, etc. Demonstrates proficiency with standard office equipment and software programs.* Basic Life Support American Heart Association RequiredUp to 40% travel required Physical RequirementsSedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionallyYour Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
