Nemours is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Wilmington, DE.
The primary function is to provide administrative and technical support to Research Administration. Will have direct interaction with Doctoral and senior staff on a daily basis. Under the supervision of the Associate and Assistant Administrators for Biomedical Research (DE operations), duties include special projects, Human Resources contact for new hires, position changes, reimbursements, payment requests, maintaining databases and spreadsheets, filing, receiving visitors, recording meeting minutes and Oracle supply chain ordering. Telephone coverage includes receiving, initiating, and fielding calls.
Work in concert with other members of the research administrative team in relation to administrative and regulatory committee functions. Coordinate and act as recording secretary for committee meetings. Act as administrative backup support to the other administrative support staff during times of absence or when needed for larger functions.
Bachelor's Degree; Experience can be considered in place of a bachelors degree.
