SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Team Manager, the Liaison II will be responsible for ensuring quality, productivity, and an even-flow of work on a daily basis. The Liaison II will also be responsible for assessing, assigning, and monitoring daily workload, providing higher-level customer service, acting as a preceptor for all new staff and serving as a resource for issues for individuals within and outside our department. The Liaison II will also assists in developing and maintaining policies and procedures, participates in special projects and is a technical resource for the team to include full knowledge of billing systems and total revenue cycle operations.
High school diploma or GED plus 3 years job related experience required
CRCR Certified or must obtain within the first year of employment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced use of CRT, typing and PC skills required
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required
Organization, analytical and decision-making skills are necessary
Must be detail and result oriented and be able to handle stressful situations
Previous experience in customer service or medical office billing is highly preferred
