State locations and specifics are subject to change as our hiring requirements shift.About the opportunity:The Lead Grant Accountant/Analyst is responsible for managing the pre award budgets and post award accounting and financial compliance for local, state, and federal grant awards. This position informs and establishes policy and procedures to ensure grant compliance. In conjunction with Program Managers, coordinates the applicable and allocable nature of charges to sponsored projects. Ensures the programs are administered in accordance with OMB regulations as well as the terms and conditions of the award.What you will do:Manages the tracking of financial information for the lifecycle of the grants awardedManages and established policies and procedures to stay compliant with grant requirementsPrepares monthly invoices for federal, state and local grants. Provides invoices to Program Managers for review and approval in a timely manner. Prepares and submits federal draws if needed.Reviews expense transactions for allowability and allocability. Interacts Collaboratively with program managers to ensure grant funds are spent within the period of performance (files for no cost extensions if needed)Prepares and submits financial reporting for grants in a complete and accurate manner for internal and external useAdministrator for grant funder websitesManages SEFA audit and audit requestsManages external audits from sponsorsLead projects for grant tracking software implementations or upgradesManages monthly revenue recognition for grant awards. Reconciles and tracks Account Receivable, deferred revenue, and cash receipts for grant awardsWorks on other similar grant for tracking and reporting needs (i.e., new market tax credit compliance)Track and record Employee Assistance program billing and paymentsPerform other duties as assigned.
