Summary: Provides administrative oversight and support for Beebe Medical Group inpatient physician practices and providers. With a high degree of autonomy, works closely with Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) leadership to establish and maintain operational structure to support the efficient and effective delivery of inpatient programs, including schedules, charge capture, internal and external communication, system partnership, and onboarding new providers. Builds productive relationships with all stakeholders throughout the system, including Medical Staff, Nursing, Facilities, and BMG. Represents BMG on select hospital-based committees and initiatives.
Other information: Will consider three years relevant experience in Physician Practice Management. Ability to work under pressure. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training and experience. Ability to supervise and develop cross-functional teams in satellite departments. Demonstrates organizational skills. Requires the ability to drive a vehicle to satellite locations throughout Sussex County Delaware.
Responsibilities: Loads provider schedules in PerfectServe - review/edit schedules with Medical Director. Edits/submits payroll bi-weekly, entering CME/PTS as appropriate. Ensures accurate and timely billing practices as related to the revenue cycle. Reports discrepancies to Revenue Cycle Director and Sr. VP. Ensures mandatory education is completed for providers. Serve as the point of contact between the hospital and providers in relation to administrative functions, ie. scheduling education sessions, meetings, training. Handle and route as appropriate incoming calls. Support HIM department in closing deficiencies/queries/documentation concerns. Support coding auditor as needed. Support Sr. Financial Analyst by giving information necessary for calculation of bonuses. Interacts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless continuity of care (i.e. pharmacies, funeral homes, regulatory agencies). Represents BMG on select hospital-based committees and initiatives, bridging the gap between inpatient and outpatient activities and services. Other duties as assigned.
