This is an administrative assistant position supporting our biomedical engineering team.
1. Order technical supplies for medical equipment using Strategic Sourcing Software 2. Receive technical supplies for medical equipment 3. Receives information from user departments to identify defective devices, location and problem observed and communicates with Clinical Engineering Team about urgent service requests 4. Enter customer service requests / create work orders in Clinical Engineering CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 5. Enter new medical equipment into Clinical Engineering CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 6. Responds to phone/IRequests for customer service requests and service updates 7. Create reports for service requests histories from Clinical Engineering CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 8. Closeout work orders in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 9. Updates CEDs medical equipment inventory at least semi-annually. 10. Establishes and maintains the departments informational binders for medical equipment inventory, contracts, policies and procedures, recalls, quarterly reports, monthly customer reports etc. 11. Performs research involved for new equipment models and manufacturers. Updates Database with current manufacturers addresses, phones # etc. Enters PM procedures into Database for new equipment. Keeps customer department information updated, managers name, phone #, etc. 12. Document department meeting/huddle minutes 13. Create Daily Huddle Reports from CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 14. Create customer service Memos / Could Not Locate reports 15. Enter contracts medical equipment using Strategic Sourcing Software 16. Maintain contract documentation for medical equipment
High School Degree Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred
One-year hospital experience preferred. Strong customer service skills are essential CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience preferred Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills that reflect excellent attention to detail Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills along with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing
