The role you’ll contribute:
The Radiology Practice Coordinator Assistant, reporting to the Radiology Practice Supervisor, utilizes imaging skills to assist the Radiologists and clinical staff by monitoring worklists for urgent exams, case backlogs, and other worklist-related needs. Provides professional customer service in person, by phone, and through written communication.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
•Monitor worklists for stroke exams, critical exams, STAT exams, established turn-around times, expedited reads, upcoming appointments, incomplete or broken studies, correct hanging protocols, one off reads.
•Assist Radiologist with technical issues by placing service tickets.
•Maintain reading room cleanliness.
•Multi-tasks by monitoring worklists, handling multiple phone lines.
Qualifications
Qualifications - External
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•High school graduate or equivalent
•At least 1 year completion of an associates of radiology technology.
•After completion of associates program - 1 year to obtain/pass Board Certification
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Associate’s degree in Radiology or Healthcare
•Experience in Radiology Department
•Experience with computer and/or medical software applications
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
•Basic Life Support (BLS)
