The Nursing Professional Development Associate (NPDA) will perform coordination tasks across various program service lines within the Center for Clinical Education & Professional Practice Development (CCEPPD) that supports the overall functioning of the Center. The NPDA will have primary assignments among the following programs with the expectation to cross-train to additional program. The various programs include: Onboarding/Orientation, Competency Management, Continuing Education, Nurse Residency, Nurse Fellowship, Nurse Leader, Emerging Nurse Leader, Preceptorship, Team Stepps, Nurse Resilience, Magnet/Pathways to Excellence, Evidence-Based Practice and Policy. The NPD Associate will be proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks with a dedicated focus on both internal & external customer-service.
This position operates under supervision of the Manager and receives assignments from Manager, Program Managers, NPD Specialists/Generalists. Work situations are varied with an emphasis on coordination of programs and projects, customer relations, standardization, communication, organization, prioritization, flexibility and creativity. Decisions will be made in consultation with Manger, PM and/or NPD Specialist/Generalist. This position has extensive internal contact with department staff, nursing leaders and staff, physician leaders and MHS administration. External contacts include outside agencies, organizations, vendors and other entities that influence department objectives.
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree or agreement to obtain Bachelorâs within three (3) year
Some financial budgeting and management experience
Minimum three (3) years office management/administrative experience; Health Care environment preferred
Minimum three (3) years of experience with personal computer
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Survey Monkey
Past experience as a NPD Associate preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $61,422.00 - $88,379.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicantâs years of experience align.
