JOB SUMMARYTakes responsibility for shift/staff in absence of department manager. Acts as lead contact for staff in answering questions, resolving account concerns/problems, and patient complaints/issues, etc. Assists in the training of new employees. Responsible to consistently and accurately validate patient demographic information, verify insurance and perform self pay follow-up as needed for Harris Health System Outpatient Service patients to ensure timely and accurate billing and optimal reimbursement for services rendered.
