SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Patient Accounts Director, screens and obtains required patient financial data to efficiently screen for additional financial resources, including financial assistance, crime victims compensation, etc. Meets with patients and communicates available resources and findings. Interacts with other hospital departments and vendors. Manages account receivable activites to ensure optimal revenue outcomes and customer experience. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years in business office setting or customer service required; 3-5 years billing and/or payer experience preferred.
