Patient Account Analyst
The Patient Accounting Analyst is responsible for in-depth follow up procedures for all specifically assigned unresolved accounts, in accordance with both third party regulations and MidHudson Valley Staffco Policy. The Patient Accounting Analyst provides a summary analysis on payer trending and reports findings to the Contract Manager and Director of Patient Financial Services, actively participates in discussions and necessary follow up to resolve on going concerns with accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES Contacts appropriate payer to resolve unpaid/ unresolved claims. All needed requests and all documentation will be requested within 24 hours of contact with payer. Provides coverage for other follow up staff as needed. Is able to provide billing coverage. M
