The premier Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI)-home to one of the nation?s most recognized and comprehensive cardiac programs-is seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its advanced Cardiovascular (CV) ICU team in Tulsa, OK on a PRN basis
The ideal candidate must have Cardiovascular or ICU experience
About Your Work:
Join an extensive team including 4 Intensivists, 7 CVICU APPs, 21 Cardiologists, 26 Cardiology APPs, 2 Advanced Heart Failure Physicians, 5 Advanced Heart Failure APPs, 3 CT Surgeons, 3 Vascular Surgeons, CVT 14 APPs, and an experienced support staff
Inpatient-only position
PRN 12 hours shifts
24 Cardiovascular ICU beds in OHI?s 104 bed referral facility
2-3 APPs on during day and 1-2 at night
Physician on during the dayshift and on call at night
Perform and become proficient in the following procedures:
Arterial line placement
Dialysis catheter insertion
Central venous line placement
Pulmonary artery (PA) catheter placement
